A Loss For Words

A Loss for Words is an American pop punk band from Abington, Massachusetts.
In 2009, nearly a decade after their initial formation, they recorded their first album, The Kids Can't Lose. To support this album, they have toured extensively in the United States as well as in Canada, Japan, Russia, western Europe and the UK with the bands Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, and Energy, among others.
They won Phoenix Magazine's All Ages Band of the year over Boys Like Girls. In 2010,they released an album of covers called Motown Classics; they closed out the year touring with The Wonder Years and Veara.
On February 10, 2011, they announced on Rise Records' YouTube account that they had signed with Rise Records/Velocity Records. On October 24, 2011, A Loss for Words released their second LP, No Sanctuary. The album received many positive reviews. They appeared on every date of the 2012 Vans Warped Tour on 2 stages (Acoustic Basement & Tilly's Stage). They did a short tour with Chiodos at the end of August and early September. They followed this by heading overseas to tour Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
